Playing with minds his forte
He would use all the tricks
Knowingly he gets caught
His domain is to appease
With magic of promises
Knows it seldom works out
Yet for the sake of votes
He shows the magic wand
Each time with new alibis
Politicians are magicians
The magic may not work
But mesmerism does work
Hypnotized electorate vote
Believing these magicians
At the end of the day sure
They all too are humans
