अक्स / Reflection

कहते हैं देख लो अपना अक्स
लेकिन वो नहीं दिखाते जो मैं हूँ
आइना उल्टा दिखता है अक्स
उससे बिलकुल उल्टा जैसा मैं हूँ

You say I must see my reflection
But not's not what exactly I am
It's the opposite of me actually
Juxtaposed to what really I am
Real me is me not my reflexion


ज़िन्दगी ढूंढती रह गई हमारा ही अक्स
सब तरफ लेकिन नहीं हमारे आस-पास
हम खुद भी हर जगह ढूंढते रहे अक्स
कल और आज, मिला नहीं आस-पास

Life kept looking for reflection
All around albeit not around me
I too kept looking for reflection
Then and now never found around me
