सोचा था आब-ए-हयात पी आये हैं हम
वो महज़ एक पोखर का पानी निकला
सोचा था जायेंगे तो बस ज़न्नत में हम
ये रास्ता तो महज़ दोजख़ का निकला
I thought that I had drunk the nectar
But the water of a pond it turned out
I thought if at all I will go to the Heaven
But the way to Hell alone it turned out
