चिराग हूँ जल कर रौशनी देता हूँ तुम्हें
फ़ितरत है मेरी खुद अँधेरे में हूँ तो क्या
तुम्हें तो बस ख़ुद रौशनी का शौक़ जो है
मेरी तरह जल कर भी देखोगे तुम क्या
I'm a lamp that gets burnt but brighten your lives
It's my nature so what if beneath me the darkness
You all have just the fascination to be in the lights
You can't even try to get burnt like me you witness!
