कोई क्षणिक मनमुटाव भी
हमारी काफ़ी बातें अलग हैं
हमें अपनी सोच अज़ीज़ है
हमारे आदर्श टकराते रहे हैं
हमारी पसंद अलग अलग है
नज़दीकियों में कमी नहीं है
अलग अलग हमारी समझ
फ़रक़ हमारे नज़रिये भी हैं
एक अंतराल बाद समझा है
दूरियों में भी नज़दीकियाँ हैं
फिर भी इतनी दूरी ज़रूरी है
समझो एक तुम और एक मैं
Differences too at times
Our ways quite different
We like our own thinking
Our ideals keep clashing
Our tastes way different
Yet being close is no issue
Different understandings
Our outlooks too different
After a while we realized
Distance too is closeness
Yet this distance essential
