Unmindful

The angels wandered why?
The people are in despair
Birds are chirping in low tone
Forests have shed greens
Water bodies are shrinking
People are experiencing
Their happiness receding
World of friendship is limiting
In this very planet Earth
That witnessed no dearth
Of all these things in the past
They then said to themselves
Machines have taken over man
And man has become machine
Family bonds have diminished
Individuals are self-centric
Living is not cooperative now
Hearts don’t decide anymore
Minds have taken over it all
Everyone plays mind games
Unmindful of consequences!
