Leaf-fall!

Those of us who think
They are perennial
Are either mistaken
Or trying to pose different
Come the times of leaf-fall
Shed our leaves we all
Recognizing every bit
Of the cycles of nature
Through the weather
We do feel sad, momentarily
Yet come back to realize
The cycle of old and new
Destruction and construction
Death and life cycle
The mortality and the change
Paving new ways
A continuous cycle of
Seeing and believing
Liking and forgetting
The lives so inane
Just like you humans!
