Why Gandhi is More Relevant Today

Many of Gandhi's views and recommendations for the people, governments and nations were simple yet very relevant.

His views for the individuals were to recommend them practicing truthfulness, non-violence; yet protest peacefully for the just causes.Each individual to fulfill his responsibilities for the family, society and nation with a great application of morality and ethics.

His prescription for the governments was to ensure the role of government and industrialists to act as trustees for the people of the country and establish classless, caste less and just society.

His prescription for the World was to live in harmony and as one family of nations.He strongly suggested the routes of peaceful settlement of disputes.

All the above prescriptions become more and more relevant in the World, struggling with violence, use of power and force, materialistic attitude of the people and their shrinking families.Those opposed of Gandhi's ways and methods also find him relevant in the day to day lives of the people even now!
