कल / yesterday

कल चाँद भी नदारद था आसमां से
बस तारे ज़रूर खूब टिमटिमा रहे थे
चन्द लम्हे तनहा थे ज़मीं की हद में
फिर भी ज़ज्बात खूब गुनगुना रहे थे
The moon stayed away from sky yesterday
Yet the stars were twinkling in familiar way
Few moments were of solitude on the Earth
Yet the feelings were humming their own way
