उसके लवों से निकले अल्फाज़ झूठ का पुलिंदा बनाते रहे
हम फिर भी जानबूझ कर इसको सच सा ही समझते रहे
बाद में वो ज़िन्दगी भर गलतियों पर अफ़सोस करते रहे
हम अपनी ईमानदारी पर खुद-ब-खुद रश्क भी करते रहे
His words continued to add up to pile of lies
I willfully accepted them as true utterances
Later he always regretted after confessions
I retained my pride of honesty at all times!
