बस चन्द अल्फाज़ कहने की बात थी
कोशिश की, मैं कहते कहते रह गया
ज़ुबां तक आए लफ्ज़ मैं निगल गया
मेरा उम्र भर का फ़ैसला ही बदल गया
It was only a matter of uttering few words
I tried but it became hard to bring them out
Just about to say but I swallowed the words
Changing decision of life it had turned about
