ज़मीन-आसमान Earth-Sky

फ़िरोज़ी फ़लक ने बताया मुझे अचानक
मेरी ओर देख किसी को कुछ नहीं मिला है
ख़्वाब भी यहाँ कभी बेवजह नहीं आते हैं
ज़मीन को ओर देखो यहीं से सब मिला है
दिन के आसमान में रंग ज़रूर बदलते हैं
अँधेरी रात में तारों के सिवा क्या मिला है
ज़मीन के साथ दरिया और समन्दर भी हैं
और देखिए समन्दर का रंग भी तो नीला है
मुझे जो भी मिला सब कुछ यहीं से मिला है
आसमाँ से दूरियों के सिवा किसे क्या मिला है

Blue sky tried to counsel and said to me
Looking at me no one has achieved anything
Dreams too don't arrive without any reason
Look at the Earth everything is found here
Daytime skies do exhibit the changing colors
In dark nights who anything but stars around
With the Earth are the rivers and oceans too
And see oceans are also showing the blue color
Whatever we found is everything from here alone
Skies have never given us anything but distances
