People like Anna Hazare in India have great social role to play in the society. He should have taken credit for successfully convincing the Parliamentarians for a strong Lokpal(Ombudsman)!
A good beginning was stalled yesterday by politicians, by not passing the Bill in the Upper House. And yes, Anna and his team should not be taking political sides and strides..no wonder there were fewer supporters in protests this week with them! Albeit, they have very important role to play!Saintly people like Anna do not well understand the media and politicians gimmickry; and games they play for vested interests. Team Anna should also try to understand that there was a party in power who for the first time was willing to pass the bill and open to future amendments and improvements. It served the cause no purpose by Congress bashing and spitting venom against them at public meetings! Net result was the Lokpal bill is not passed:(
People like Anna are few icons of ethics, morality and service motives in the society. We support the cause of rooting out graft and corruption and the people's power.
Long live Anna and stay away from politics!
