When the darkness prevails
For I want to feel and test it
The intensity and effect of
Myself, around me, my thoughts
And me the gullible person
I can vouch myself for it all
I can withstand and sustain
The darkness and its effects
With all the ease around
And when the lights come by
I am doubly reassured of
My tryst with dark moments
And ability to deal with that
The lessons learnt mentally
And my mental toughness
